Complete Restorations

H.O. Aircraft was founded on restoring antique warbird aircraft. Our first project was a 1930s Stearman, and we have only expanded upon that. We now help our clients restore any and all aircraft including tri-motors, bi-planes, unique float planes, and more. With our own hangar, full fabrication machine shop, avionics lab, fabric stall, paint booth and parts office, H.O. Aircraft can rebuild any aircraft, either one-of-a-kind or mass-produced, and anywhere in-between.

Our Capabilities

4000 sq ft Hangar Workshop

Located in Anoka, MN (KANE), our large hangar supports aircraft from airliner to single-seaters.

Fully Trained Staff

Our staff are FAA-approved Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT) and hold applicable Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications. We are approved to work on, test and sign-off on certified aircraft builds, re-builds, repairs and maintenance.

Dedicated Machine Shop

Our machine shop features milling, drilling, lathe, English wheels, CNCs and more. We have the capability to work with steel, aluminum, titanium, alloy and composite materials.

Paint Booth

We have a dedicated 800 sq ft paint booth that can be used to spray any aircraft component. We can also build custom booths for larger aircraft. Our team are experts in paint mixing, spraying as well as livery designs.

Avionics Lab

Our avionics department and on-site avionics lab can create any panel arrangement. From single engine monitor additions to full glass panel renovations, our team is ready. We are distributors for many leading avionics brands including Garmin, Dynon, Aspen and more.

Parts Shop

We work on a variety of aircraft, and we keep our shelves fully stocked as a result. Our parts team ensure regular stock of common necessities as well as rare specialties.

CAD Office (Autodesk & Vector)

When custom parts are required, our CAD team can design, draft and manufacture many parts in-house. Our team is also instrumental to our avionics labs to build custom panels.
